On Wednesday, 11 October 2017, in the evening at 18:29, in Klaipėda, on H. Manto street near No. 20, an Evobus O 530 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 21-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Evobus (29 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
