On Thursday, 12 October 2017, at night at 3:20, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 11.20), a Mercedes-Benz A170 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk.
