On Friday, 13 October 2017, at night at 1:39, in Ukmergės district municipality, on Vytauto street, at the junction with V. Kudirkos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Hyundai Tucson. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. The 29-year-old driver of the Hyundai was drunk (1.53‰) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
