On Friday, 20 October 2017, in the afternoon at 16:28, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Gerduvėnų village, on Gerduvėnų street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V70 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volvo (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
