On Tuesday, 24 October 2017, in the evening at 18:35, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Naujamiestis–Upytė regional road (kilometre 5.01), a Ssang Yong Kyron rolled over. A 64-year-old passenger of the Ssang Yong was drunk (2.47‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
