On Tuesday, 24 October 2017, at night at 23:12, in Šiauliai, on Dainų street near No. 52, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane Scenic, a Peugeot 407, a Volkswagen Passat, a Ford Galaxy and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Renault, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
