On Wednesday, 25 October 2017, in the evening at around 22:00, in Utenos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 119.70), a Mercedes-Benz Actros 1844 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (9 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations.
