On Saturday, 28 October 2017, in the evening at 19:59, in Vilnius, on Minsko pl., at the junction with Liepkalnio 112, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 80-year-old driver of the Peugeot (24 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
