On Friday, 3 November 2017, in the evening at 19:30, in Kaunas, on Ateities pl. near No. 46, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 D and a Volkswagen Crafter. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.09‰ blood alcohol).
