On Saturday, 4 November 2017, at night at 4:17, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on Klaipėdos street near No. 35, a BMW 330 D registered in Sweden hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.77‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
