On Monday, 6 November 2017, in the morning at 9:38, in Vilnius, on Garvežių street near No. 8, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a BMW 318i. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
