On Monday, 6 November 2017, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Šv. Gertrūdos street, at the junction with Gimnazijos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Mitsubishi Lancer. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
