On Saturday, 11 November 2017, in the evening at 19:24, in Marijampolės municipality, on Vytauto street, at the junction with Aušros street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S40 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volvo (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
