On Saturday, 11 November 2017, in the evening at 18:14, in Kelmės district municipality, on the Nemakščiai–Kražiai–Junkilai regional road (kilometre 9.38), a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a MTZ and an Audi A2. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the MTZ, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet.
