On Sunday, 19 November 2017, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Prienų district municipality, Pašventupio village, on the Liepalotas–Ašminta–Pakuonis regional road (kilometre 8.80), an Opel Astra rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Opel (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.52‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
