On Thursday, 23 November 2017, in the evening at 17:23, in Panevėžys, on Pušaloto street, at the junction with Įmonių street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a DAF FT 95XF.430, a Schmitz SCS 24/L and a Volkswagen Passat registered in Estonia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the DAF (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
