On Sunday, 10 December 2017, at night at 0:05, in Klaipėda, on Sausio 15-osios street, at the junction with Pilies street, an Opel Astra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Opel (17 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.60‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
