On Thursday, 21 December 2017, in the evening at 20:10, in Vilnius, on Verkių street near No. 29, at the junction with "Šeimos aikštė" 6 korpusas, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW X6 Xdrive 30D and a Lexus RX400h. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 69-year-old driver of the BMW (24 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
