On Friday, 22 December 2017, in the afternoon at 16:55, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 26, an Opel Vectra hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 81-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 82-year-old driver of the Opel (54 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
