On Saturday, 23 December 2017, at night at 1:04, in Vilniaus district municipality, Marijampolio village, on the Vilnius–Lyda main road (kilometre 21), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Polo and a Volkswagen Passat.
