On Friday, 29 December 2017, in the morning at 10:25, in Utenos district municipality, on the Utena–Pakalniai–Alanta regional road (kilometre 3.97), a vehicle rolled over. One person was injured — the 25-year-old driver of an Audi A3 (treated as an outpatient, had no driving licence). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed traffic rule violations that contributed to the accident. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
