On Friday, 29 December 2017, in the afternoon at 11:43, in Vilnius, on P. Lukšio street near No. 32, a BMW 520I hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
