On Friday, 29 December 2017, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Šiaulių district municipality, on Vytauto street near No. 78, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra Station Wagon and a Renault Megane Scenic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 75-year-old driver of the Opel (38 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk.
