On Monday, 1 January 2018, in the morning at 8:25, in Skuodo district municipality, on the Kretinga–Skuodas national road (kilometre 42.42), a BMW 330 XD rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.63‰ blood alcohol).
