On Sunday, 7 January 2018, in the afternoon at 14:15, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 42A, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a KIA Motors RIO and an Audi 100. Two people were injured — the 47-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (treated as an outpatient) and a 67-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet.
