On Wednesday, 10 January 2018, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Vilnius, on Ulonų street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 registered in Great Britain and a Hyundai. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
