On Sunday, 28 January 2018, in the evening at around 22:00, in Vilnius, on Gabijos street near No. 42, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Octavia and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Skoda (25 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 10 km/h.
