On Monday, 5 February 2018, in the afternoon at 11:15, in Kaunas, on A. Juozapavičiaus pr. near No. 33, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 213 CDI hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 56-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (24 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
