On Thursday, 8 February 2018, in the evening at 18:35, in Vilnius, on Apkasų street, at the junction with Žygio street, a BMW hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 19-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the BMW (13 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
