On Friday, 9 February 2018, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on L. Sapiegos street near No. 12, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
