On Monday, 12 February 2018, in the evening at 18:03, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Antakalnis–Jieznas–Alytus–Merkinė national road (kilometre 12.20), a BMW X3 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the BMW (30 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
