On Wednesday, 21 February 2018, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Geležinio Vilko street near No. 2, at the junction with Savanorių pr., a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Avant and a BMW 320D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Audi (19 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
