On Saturday, 24 February 2018, in the evening at 22:20, in Klaipėda, on Sulupės street near No. 11A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Honda Civic and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.27‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
