On Tuesday, 27 February 2018, in the evening at around 20:00, in Šilalės district municipality, on V. Kudirkos street, at the junction with Kovo 11-osios street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Avant and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Audi (3 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
