On Thursday, 1 March 2018, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on E. Ožeškienės street near No. 25, a Mazda 626 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Mazda (38 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
