On Saturday, 3 March 2018, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on P. Lukšio street, at the junction with S. Žukausko street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Jeep Commander. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Opel (2 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
