On Monday, 5 March 2018, in the morning at 10:30, in Panevėžys, on Klaipėdos street, at the junction with Kosmonautų street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530, a Skoda Octavia and an Opel Astra Station Wagon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. All drivers were sober.
