On Friday, 9 March 2018, in the morning at around 10:00, in Šiauliai, on Žemaitės street, at the junction with V. Bielskio street, a Dacia hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 77-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Dacia (8 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
