On Sunday, 11 March 2018, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Plungės district municipality, Mardosų village, on the Plungė–Vėžaičiai national road (kilometre 8.30), a MTZ Belarus-50 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the MTZ (13 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober. The MTZ had recorded faults (padangų). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
