On Monday, 26 March 2018, in the evening at 19:50, in Vilnius, on Sodų street, at the junction with V. Šopeno street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Berlingo and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Citroen (31 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
