On Friday, 30 March 2018, at night at 2:25, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 243, at the junction with Tvirtovės al., an Audi A4 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Audi (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, there was freezing rain, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
