On Friday, 30 March 2018, in the evening at 20:48, in Vilnius, on Taikos street, at the junction with Justiniškių street, an Opel Omega-B hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 14-year-old pedestrian (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Opel (2 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
