On Sunday, 1 April 2018, in the afternoon at 14:25, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Gėluva–Jankūnai–Juodkaimiai regional road (kilometre 8), a Citroen Xsara Picasso rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.05‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
