On Monday, 2 April 2018, in the evening at 21:21, in Vilnius, on Apkasų street near No. 31, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Prius, a Volkswagen Sharan, a Volkswagen NEW Beetle, a Volvo S40 and a Volkswagen Multivan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Toyota (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was under the influence of psychoactive substances and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
