On Sunday, 8 April 2018, in the evening at 18:50, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 28.90), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Avensis and a Seat Alhambra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Toyota (13 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.07‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
