On Tuesday, 17 April 2018, at night at around 3:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on Chemikų street near No. 30, a Yamaha Cygnus X registered in Great Britain rolled over. Two people were injured — the 16-year-old driver of the Yamaha (hospitalized) and a 19-year-old passenger of the Yamaha (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Yamaha, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.30‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 19-year-old passenger of the Yamaha was drunk (0.55‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
