On Saturday, 21 April 2018, in the morning at 10:30, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr., at the junction with M. Daukšos street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra-G-CC and a Yamaha YZF-R6. One person was injured — the 43-year-old driver of the Yamaha (severely injured, hospitalized, had no driving licence). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Opel (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
