On Monday, 23 April 2018, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Prienai–Alytus national road (kilometre 16.85), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Ford Transit, a Tauras 2501-02, a Nissan Qashqai and a Volkswagen Passat. One person was injured — the 40-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient).
