On Thursday, 26 April 2018, at night at around 23:00, in Klaipėda, on Paryžiaus Komunos street, at the junction with Taikos pr., a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Espace and a BMW. Two people were injured — the 34-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient) and a 37-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Renault (10 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. Both drivers were sober.
