On Saturday, 28 April 2018, in the afternoon at 14:54, in Vilnius, on Perkūnkiemio street near No. 19, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V70 and a BMW 525 D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volvo (12 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
